These little red gems are an ideal ingredient to add to smoothies, breakfasts, baking and desserts… and their subtly sweet flavour makes them a moreish snack.
ROAR goji berries are sourced direct from the grower from the Chinese province on Ningxia – a region renowned for the highest quality most saught after juicy red berries in China. The farm has been independantly organically certified for a decade since the day they started, meaning they are not a fly by night ‘organic’ farmer. They are harvested as delicate red berries and then dehydrated at low temperatures whilst they are still fresh and full of nutrients.
Goji berries are packed full of anti-oxidants and vitamin C. They are an ancient Chinese ingredient that is believed to both increase youthfulness and longevity. They rank very highly on the ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) scale which means that they have high levels of anti-ageing and health promoting anti-oxidants.
